La ligne 10 du tramway de Bruxelles
The NOhW LRT is a genuine neighbourhood project. It reconnects the fast-developing Neder-Over-Heembeek district with the centre of Brussels and the whole of the Flemish region.
Its 5.5 km integration through old, inhabited areas marked by a very strong topography is an opportu-nity to redevelop public space to improve the living environment. Citizen participation is at the heart of the design process: a panel of users, representatives of associations and of the economic sector has been integrated into the project team, a survey to deter-mine the major challenges of the project has been put online, and regular meetings are organised with local residents right up to the inauguration.
